Zographos CH66 Side Chair (1974)
Made by General Fireproofing Company
This is a set of 8 CH66 Side Chairs, designed by Nicos Zographos for Zographos Designs in 1966. The chairs were produced by the General Fireproofing Company circa 1974. The frames are formed of tubular chrome-plated steel, and their upholstered seats & backs are done in a thick black leather.
Each chair is 21 inches long, 19 inches wide, and 31 inches high. Their seat height is 18.5 inches. The original leather has achieved a lovely patina, but does show some creasing & wear from age. There is wear apparent along the edges. The chromed-steel frames show some light scratches and there is light oxidation to the plating. Overall, these chairs are in very good vintage condition with age appropriate wear. Please see photos. If additional chairs are needed, we have others, though they may either be missing the upholstery or have different colored upholstery.
