How to Consign With Us

1. Send us your item details.

Use the form above to tell us about your item. The more images you can send, the better.

2. If your item is accepted, we'll reach out via email.

Our team evaluates for authenticity, condition, notability and likelihood of successful sale. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept pieces that we cannot authenticate, or pieces physically located outside of the continental USA.

3. We arrange shipment of the piece to our warehouse.

You're responsible for the cost of shipping to our warehouse, but you don't need to pay anything until the item sells, or if you request your item back before it's sold.

4. We photograph, warehouse and list your item for sale.

Our team professionally documents and lists your item on various platforms to maximize sales potential. We determine an appropriate price based on current market conditions.

5. When your items sells, we split the net proceeds with you 50/50.

You get 50% of final sale price minus the cost of shipping to our warehouse. We don't charge anything for warehousing.

Terms of Consignment

By consigning an Item with Rarify Inc. ("Rarify"), you (the "Consignor") agree to the following Terms of Consignment (the "Consignment Agreement"):

  1. Only authentic furniture, lighting, artworks or products ("Items") may be eligible for consignment.
  2. Acceptance of an Item for consignment is not guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of Rarify.
  3. If an Item is accepted for consignment:
  • Rarify may list the Item for sale on its own platforms or third party platforms, including but not limited to https://rarify.co, eBay, and 1stdibs.
  • All listing content shall remain the sole discretion of Rarify, with the goal of accurately describing the Item for sale. Listings include photography, pricing, descriptions and Item details such as production year and condition if available.
  • For the duration of an Item's consignment, Rarify will be responsible for warehousing the Item unless a different arrangement is agreed upon.
  • The Consigner is responsible for any Costs of shipping involved in transporting the Item to Rarify's facilities. Certain Items may incur extra overhead costs, for example, if an Item is exceptionally large or heavy.
  • The Consignor is responsible for any Costs of refurbishment, refinishing, restoration or touch-ups required to sell the item. Rarify shall make a reasonable effort to minimize these Costs considering the assumed market value of the Item, and shall make a reasonable effort to act in the Consigner's best interest when considering refurbishment.
  • The Consignor shall not be responsible for paying the above-mentioned Costs until the Item is sold.
  • Unless otherwise agreed by Rarify, the Final Amount paid to the Consigner after an Item sells is equivalent to 50% of the following: the Sale Price less any above-mentioned Costs, in United States Dollars (USD).
  • The Consignor shall not be responsible for the cost of shipping the item to any Buyer once the Item is sold.
  • Rarify and the Consignor equally reserve the right to terminate the Consignment Agreement at any point.
  • In the case of the termination of this Consignment Agreement before sale, the Consignor is responsible for the Cost of shipping the Item from Rarify's facilities in a timely manner. At this point, all other above-mentioned Costs are immediately due to Rarify.
  • Sale of Items is not guaranteed.
