Description
This is a Classic Teak Writing Desk, designed by Borge Mogensen for Soborg Mobelfabrik in Denmark. This example was produced in the 1960s. It features two right-hand drawers which provide ample storage, and offers a kneehole space for your desk chair. It stands on four solid teak legs, and the case of the desk is also constructed of solid and veneered teak. The piece is fully finished and may stand alone in the middle of a room. It is stamped “Made in Denmark”.
The desk measures 23.75 inches deep, 39.5 inches wide, and stands 29 inches high. The piece shows some signs of wear from use. The wood is darker in some areas of the desk, and the legs and edges have some scuffs. Overall, this desk is in very good vintage condition. Please see photos.
