Description
This is an original Womb lounge chair and its accompanying ottoman, models 70L and 74y, designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1948. This set was manufactured in the USA in the 1960s. The chair features a seat that is formed of foam-covered molded fiberglass, and it has tubular chromed-steel legs. The original fabric is in rough shape, and these authentic examples are ready for reupholstery. If so desired, we can provide upholstery services in your fabric or leather of choice for an additional charge.
The chair measures 34 inches long, 39 inches wide, and 35.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 16 inches, and an arm height of 20.5 inches. The chromed-steel legs are in nice shape overall, and the fabric is undoubtedly ready for a re-do. Overall, this set is in solid condition and is ready for its next chapter. Please see photos.
