Description
The classic Tabouret Haut bar stool by Jean Prouvé is available in robust solid oak, with a natural or dark stained finish. The chrome-plated steel ring with an anti-skid surface guarantees stability and offers comfortable use as a footrest.
Tabouret was designed by French designer, architect and engineer Jean Prouvé. Prouvé's work encompasses a wide range of objects. The list includes a letter opener, door and window fittings, lighting and furniture, façade elements, prefabricated houses, modular building systems, large exhibition structures – essentially, almost anything that is suited to industrial production methods.
In close cooperation with the Prouvé family, Vitra began in 2002 to issue re-editions of designs by this great French constructeur.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
