Description
This is a Syklus sewing table, designed by Rolf Rastad and Adolf Relling for Rasmus Solberg in 1962. This particular piece was produced in Norway at around that same time. The silhouette of the sewing basket was deemed revolutionary when the model was first released in 1962, and it was awarded first prize in a Norwegian design competition. The folding top is teak, having brass fittings, and the basket is made of rich brown suede leather. The base is formed from black lacquered iron.
This piece measures 23 inches in diameter, and it is 16.5 inches high. There are some small chips to the veneer on the edge of the top which we can repair professionally at no additional cost prior to shipping if desired. There are some water marks on the table surface, and there is some patina on the legs. Overall, this sewing basket is in good condition. Please see photos.

Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.
