Steamer Deck Chair
By Skagerak Design for Fritz Hansen
Description
The flowing lines of the Steamer Deck Chair are inspired by the curved lines of a cruise ship. Steamer Deck Chair is crafted from high-quality teak in a clean and light expression with functionality and comfort at the forefront of this Nordic archetype.
Create the perfect spot to recline and relax with the Steamer Deck Chair, a modern rendition of the archetypal sun lounger. Accommodating four reclining positions, it is a fusion of function and comfort. Its integrated footrest tucks away when not in use, while its FSC-certified teak frame offers sturdy comfort, patinating beautifully over time.
The Barriere Cushion Series is a range of beautiful cushions designed to make seating experiences better and softer. Designed for all weather conditions, the cushions are made to last year after year with resilient and weatherproof materials.
Deck Chair Cushion is custom-made for the wooden Steamer Deck Chair. The top is designed with an inserted height and two velcro straps, keeping the cushion in place. Able to withstand wind and weather, the upholstery textiles are Oeko-Tex® certified and extremely colour and lightfast as well as water and dirt-repellent and even mildew-resistant. The cushion dries exceptionally quickly, even after a heavy downpour, as the foam has an open-cell structure that allows both water and air to pass through. The foam provides a firm and comfortable texture that remains the same year after year.
Chair and cushion sold separately.
The Steamer Deck Chair and Barriere Cushions were designed by Skagerak Design.
