By Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen
Series 7 Chair, Model 3107
This is a series 7 stacking side chair, Model 3107, initially designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1955. These examples date to 2005.The listed price includes one chair and we have several available for sale. Their design features a tubular steel frame with a chrome-plated finish, and has a pressure-molded sliced veneer shell of White Beech. They are currently upholstered in a blue fabric.
Each chair is 20.5 inches long, 20 inches wide, and 32 inches tall. They have a seat height of 18 inches. The chairs are in solid shape, and are excellent candidates for new upholstery or can be used as/is. A steam clean may also perk up the fabric, which we can arrange prior to shipping if desired. There are some scuffs and scratches on the steel bases, and some spots on the seats. Overall, these chairs are in good condition with use apparent. Please see photos.
