By Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen
Series 3300 Easy Chair
This is a Series 3300 Easy Chair, originally designed by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Air Terminal in Copenhagen in 1958. The listed price includes one chair, and we have 3 chairs available in this fabric. These examples were produced by Fritz Hansen in Denmark in 2005. Their design features a slim tubular chromed-steel frame, and this pair is upholstered in a modern fabric. The fabric has a lovely sheen to it, incorporating brown, taupe, grey and gold.
Each chair measures 31.1 inches deep, 28.7 inches wide, and 28.4 inches high. They have a seat height of 14.2 inches. The chromed-steel frames are in terrific condition, showing a few small scrapes and scratches. The original upholstery fabric remains in good condition, with a few small stains and watermarks. There is some creasing apparent on the cushions. Overall, these chairs are in good condition with light signs of use. Please see photos.
