Description
The Seoto bench is made of solid white oak, beech or walnut in a variety of finishes, and 2 sizes with a wood or upholstered cushion seat.
The Seoto series was designed by industrial designer Motomi Kawakami. Kawakami's design work speacializes in product, interior, space and environmental design. He established tehe Kawakami Design office in 1971. His honors include Japan Interior Triennale, Gold Prize. 1st Prize, The Open International Chair Design Competition (The American Institute of Architects). Mainichi Design Prize. Kitaro Kunii Industrial Design Award. Tanaka Prize, Japan Society of Civil Engineers (for “Tsurumi Tsubasa Bridge”). IF Prize (Germany). Gold Prize, Japan Package Design Award, Good Design Award. etc.
