Description
This is a set of four Saarinen Executive Chairs, model 72C, originally designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International in 1950. The set was produced in the USA at around the same time. The listed price includes the set of four chairs. These chairs feature freshly reupholstered seats, redone in a white Knoll Textiles fabric. The backs of these chairs are composed of white fiberglass and the legs are formed of steam-bent wood.
Each chair measures 20.5 inches long, 22.5 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 18.75 inches. This set has been newly upholstered, and the fabric and foam are in excellent condition. The finish on the backs shows some scraping to edges and normal wear from use. The legs show some wear from use also. Overall, these chairs are in very good to excellent vintage condition. Please see photos.
