Description
This is an early Florence Knoll Parallel Bar System Sofa, Model 53, initially designed by Florence Knoll in 1955. This piece was produced in the USA at around the same time. It is a rare example of Florence Knoll's work in its original form. The sofa features russet brown fabric upholstery, and has a squared-off tubular steel frame.
The sofa measures 31 inches long, 84 inches wide, and 30 inches high. There is sun discoloration on the back of the piece, and there are spots on the seat. While there are no longer any labels intact, we guarantee it to be an authentic Knoll production example. Please see photos.
