Description
The Oxbend Windsor Bench takes the Oxbend Windsor to the next level, incorporating sleek joinery for the extended crest rail. Splicing steam-bent pieces together allows Fernweh to make the best use out of wood bends. Often, during the intensity of steam-bending wood this thick, one side of a bend will fail. Utilizing half of a steam bent crest rail and joining it to a gorgeous extended wood bench rail allows them to keep from wasting only partially failed bends.
Born from a desire to create a bench that was comfortable, organic, and elegant in its simplicity, the Oxbend incorporates subtle hand-shaped curves and classic wedged-tenon leg joinery. Typically used as an entryway bench, dining bench, or living room settee, the Oxbend Windsor Bench is versatile and minimal; it seeks to complement your existing furniture. The Leather Seat Pad (optional) is specifically designed to add additional cushioning and comfort.

What should I expect when ordering an item with lead time?
Estimated lead times are shown under "Delivery", above. Read our shipping policy to learn more.
Lead times are estimated based on previous production times from our manufacturing partners, but lead times can change depending on availability and circumstances outside of Rarify's control.
For example: if purchasing an imported or made-to-order product, international shipping and import times depend on many factors. This includes US customs operations, global trade circumstances, and production facilities in other countries.
We will try to fulfill your order as quickly as possible. Our international freight forwarding partners help to take burden off of you during the process of importing; we appreciate your patience while your order is fulfilled.
Purchasing made-to-order is one of the most responsible ways to purchase, as it helps prevent furniture waste on our planet.
Vintage items are typically in-stock in the USA and ready to ship once purchased.
How much does shipping cost?
To see shipping costs, add an item to your cart and proceed to checkout. You'll be able to see costs there.
- Small items like lamps typically cost under $99 to ship.
- Larger items including furniture often ship on a truck via Freight. Our furniture shippers professionally arrange and manage all Freight shipments.
- Freight costs often range between $100 and $999 for furniture.
- Very large and fragile items can cost more, depending on the ship-to-address.
- Freight costs may include insurance.
Do you deliver to NYC?
Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
Is everything authentic?
Rarify's entire collection is evaluated by credentialed experts for authenticity. We strive to only list an item for sale if we're certain it's authentic. Our team reviews every piece.

Can I customize upholstery or finishes?
