Description

This is a set of six dining chairs, Model 4209, designed by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb Furniture. The chairs were manufactured in Grand Rapids, Michigan, circa 1950s. Their frames are formed of solid bleached walnut (they appear to be, as they would otherwise be birch), and they have freshly upholstered seats re-done in a Knoll textiles off-white upholstery. The set consists of two armchairs and four side chairs, as shown.

The listed price includes the set of 6 chairs. Each armchair measures 34.5 inches tall, 23.25 inches in width and 20 inches in depth. Each side chair measures 34 inches tall, 22 inches in width and 20 inches in depth. The chairs have a seat height of 18.25 inches. The set is in very good vintage condition. The wood has taken on a soft glow from wear and use.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.

What is Freight shipping?

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.

Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
