Description
This is a set of five Four Rung Ladder-back Dining Chairs, designed by Tyler Hays for BBDW C. 2005. The listed price includes the set of five. Each piece is composed of solid American Black Walnut having an applied oil finish, and the antiqued red velvet fabric was specially selected by Tyler Hays. The thick timber pieces are each carefully selected for their grain pattern. The pieces that are chosen are paired together to elevate the simple yet natural beauty that is inherent in the black walnut. The branded manufacturer's mark is on the underside of each chair. This is the taller four rung version of this model. These were produced in 2008.
Each chair measures 19.25 inches deep, 18.25 inches wide, and 40.25 inches high. They have a seat height of 18 inches. There are some very slight scratches and scuffs to the wood’s finish. The fabric shows very slight fading, though it is consistent with the nature of the fabric. Overall, these chairs are in excellent condition. Please see photos.
