Description
This is a ‘Kungsbacka’ Swedish Gate-Leg Dining Table, designed by Goran Strand for Lelangs Mobelfrabrik in the 1960s. The piece is composed of both solid teak and teak veneer, having four extendable leaves and 8 connected legs. When not in use, the piece can fold up to become quite slim. The original brochure from Lelångs Möbelfabrik will be included upon shipment.
While the photos show the ends sagging slightly, we can address this with our professional woodworker prior to shipping so that it sits perfectly straight. I suspect this was either an error during photography or an easy adjustment needed.
This table measures 39.37 inches long, 110.23 inches wide, and 28.35 inches high. When the leaves are folded in, the piece measures 8.27 inches wide. There are some assorted scratches and scuffs on both the top surface and on the legs. Overall, this piece is in good condition. Please see photos.

What should I expect when ordering an item with lead time?
Estimated lead times are shown under "Delivery", above. Read our shipping policy to learn more.
Lead times are estimated based on previous production times from our manufacturing partners, but lead times can change depending on availability and circumstances outside of Rarify's control.
For example: if purchasing an imported or made-to-order product, international shipping and import times depend on many factors. This includes US customs operations, global trade circumstances, and production facilities in other countries.
We will try to fulfill your order as quickly as possible. Our international freight forwarding partners help to take burden off of you during the process of importing; we appreciate your patience while your order is fulfilled.
Purchasing made-to-order is one of the most responsible ways to purchase, as it helps prevent furniture waste on our planet.
Vintage items are typically in-stock in the USA and ready to ship once purchased.
How much does shipping cost?
To see shipping costs, add an item to your cart and proceed to checkout. You'll be able to see costs there.
- Small items like lamps typically cost under $99 to ship.
- Larger items including furniture often ship on a truck via Freight. Our furniture shippers professionally arrange and manage all Freight shipments.
- Freight costs often range between $100 and $999 for furniture.
- Very large and fragile items can cost more, depending on the ship-to-address.
- Freight costs may include insurance.
Do you deliver to NYC?
Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
Is everything authentic?
Rarify's entire collection is evaluated by credentialed experts for authenticity. We strive to only list an item for sale if we're certain it's authentic. Our team reviews every piece.

Can I customize upholstery or finishes?
