Description

This is a Three-Seater Sling Bench, designed by Bruce Hannah and Andrew Morrison for Knoll International in 1971. It was produced in the USA around 1973. The piece features a cast aluminum base that is powder-coated black, and has 3 sectioned upholstered seats. Hannah and Morrison met whilst students at the Pratt Institute, and went on to work together successfully at Knoll International.

This bench measures 25.5 inches deep, 81 inches wide, and 15 inches high. The piece is an excellent candidate for reupholstery, as the original upholstery that remains is in poor shape with some small holes and stains. One corner has more wear than the others. The foam cushions are soft and not crunchy, and the black powder-coated frame is in solid condition. There are several scuffs and scrapes to the base finish. Overall, this bench is in good original condition. Please see photos.

What is Freight shipping?

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.

Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
