Hamptons Occasional Table, Model 4892
Description
This is a Round Occasional ‘Hamptons’ Table, model 4892, designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar in 1953. The design is classic and rather simple, having a round top on a pedestal base. What makes this table special is the rich mahogany that was chosen to craft the piece. The wood has been french-polished and varnished in the interest of showcasing the wood’s natural grain.
This table measures 28.25 inches in diameter and is 24.25 inches high. There is some slight discoloration on the top surface, and there are some small blemishes on the surface of the stem and base. The original label is present underneath the top. Overall, this table is in good condition. Please see photos.
