Description
The seat shell of HAL RE Armchair Tube Stackable is made of recycled plastic. Despite the organic curves of its armrests, the chair's unobtrusive, four-legged tubular steel base can be stacked – without the optional seat cushion – and is therefore suited for use in auditoriums or restaurants, and other settings in which the number of chairs must be flexibly adaptable. HAL RE Armchair Tube Stackable can also be ordered with a stacking trolley, as well as as with row connectors and seat numbering elements.
Chairs come with basic, black glides. Contact us to order chairs with white or felt glides.
HAL was designed by Jasper Morrison. Morrison was trained in design at Kingston Polytechnic and post-graduate studies from the Royal College of Art in London. He has built a reputation for creating simple and often unassuming products, which reveal their novelty and genius through their simplicity. Morrison has designed trains and refrigerators, tea kettles and training shoes. In the realm of furniture and lighting, collaborations with Vitra, Emeco, Magis, and Flos have been very successful. To put it simply, Morrison's designs and products are those which you purchase and own because you need them in your life and because they are useful.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
