Description
This is a pair of Florence Knoll Parallel Bar System Armless Slipper Lounge Chairs, Model 51, originally designed by Florence Knoll in 1955. These examples date to the 1960s and have been freshly redone in a dark brown Maharam Bask leather. The listed price includes the pair. Their design features a padded seat and back with button tufted details, supported by a square tubular steel frame with a contrasting black finish.
Each chair measures 29.5 inches long, 24.5 inches wide, and 30.25 inches high. They have a seat height of 16.25 inches. We have intentionally left the frame in its original state, and it shows some light wear on its feet & legs. The new dark brown leather upholstery is pristine. Overall, these chairs are in very good to excellent condition with light wear. Please see photos.
