Description
The new F51N by Katrin Greiling. Using traditional Danish fabrics and new colors, the designer is developing the Bauhaus anniversary in a surprisingly colorful way. n 2019, Katrin Greiling impressed with the colorfully accented F51N for the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus. Four years later, she developed the theme further: Katrin Greiling currently combines the high-gloss paint with tactile materials that create a strong statement in the hands and with their wide striped patterns. Stripes have a tradition – both at Gropius and at Tecta. For her fabrics, she chose a historic weaving mill in northern Denmark: Kjellerup Væveri, which is deeply rooted in the Nordic tradition with classic furniture textiles. Patterns and designs have been developed over the last 30 years by weaver and designer Hanne Vedel. What is characteristic of the work of the now 88-year-old is that she develops products on the handloom and in close contact with her material.

What should I expect when ordering an item with lead time?
Estimated lead times are shown under "Delivery", above. Read our shipping policy to learn more.
Lead times are estimated based on previous production times from our manufacturing partners, but lead times can change depending on availability and circumstances outside of Rarify's control.
For example: if purchasing an imported or made-to-order product, international shipping and import times depend on many factors. This includes US customs operations, global trade circumstances, and production facilities in other countries.
We will try to fulfill your order as quickly as possible. Our international freight forwarding partners help to take burden off of you during the process of importing; we appreciate your patience while your order is fulfilled.
Purchasing made-to-order is one of the most responsible ways to purchase, as it helps prevent furniture waste on our planet.
Vintage items are typically in-stock in the USA and ready to ship once purchased.
How much does shipping cost?
To see shipping costs, add an item to your cart and proceed to checkout. You'll be able to see costs there.
- Small items like lamps typically cost under $99 to ship.
- Larger items including furniture often ship on a truck via Freight. Our furniture shippers professionally arrange and manage all Freight shipments.
- Freight costs often range between $100 and $999 for furniture.
- Very large and fragile items can cost more, depending on the ship-to-address.
- Freight costs may include insurance.
Do you deliver to NYC?
Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
Is everything authentic?
Rarify's entire collection is evaluated by credentialed experts for authenticity. We strive to only list an item for sale if we're certain it's authentic. Our team reviews every piece.
