Description

Listed for sale are original early 2000's custom ordered Jens Risom walnut dining / cafe tables. The tables were produced by Knoll International and are in very nice condition.
The price listed is for one table. Multiple tables are available.
These tables were ordered by Skidmore, Owings andamp; Merrill Architects (SOM) for the Pritzker family's Hyatt Headquarters during a large-scale redesign of their corporate headquarters in Chicago.
When purchasing these tables, I reached out to a historian at Knoll to ask about the history of the tables. They were part of the "Knoll Planning Unit" design series, which can be noted by the design of these sculpted legs. Photos are attached. In short, the design makes use of four sculpted legs adopted from the Planning Unit (a design from the late 50's/early 60's) with a top derived somewhat from the Florence Knoll and Saarinen tables.
Another larger 78 inch version is also available.
The legs are in excellent condition with some light wear. The tops also have some wear noted with some light marks and scratches from use. To be absolutely perfect again, they'd just need a freshening up with oil. I can have this professionally done at your request (with added time allowed and minimal added cost).
The tables measure 56.5 x 33.5 x 28.25 inches.

When do orders ship?

You can see estimated lead times under "Delivery", above.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.

Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.

What is Freight shipping?

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.

Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.

Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
