The stools or side tables of the Cork Family are distinguished by the advantageous natural properties of cork: lightweight and extremely durable, they also have a velvety surface that is pleasant to touch.
The Cork Family was designed by Jasper Morrison. Morrison was trained in design at Kingston Polytechnic and post-graduate studies from the Royal College of Art in London. He has built a reputation for creating simple and often unassuming products, which reveal their novelty and genius through their simplicity. Morrison has designed trains and refrigerators, tea kettles and training shoes. In the realm of furniture and lighting, collaborations with Vitra, Emeco, Magis, and Flos have been very successful. To put it simply, Morrison's designs and products are those which you purchase and own because you need them in your life and because they are useful.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
