Bong Table
The Bong Table represents the concept of simple, yet uncommon shapes. A sphere cut on the upper part becoming a service table or a seat. A bold item with different looks depending on the selected finish. The spherical shape of the Bong table makes it a signature product. Thanks to its lightness, it is a versatile piece of furniture suitable for various settings and locations. The Bong table is made of reinforced fiberglass, manufactured with a proprietary process developed by Cappellini. Both the material and the manufacturing process make this product extremely lightweight, but robust and resistant at the same time. Bong is available in different versions: matt lacquered finish, in a selection of colors; volcanic lava finish, produced with real lava powder from Etna volcano; fake marble and floral finish, obtained with Dip-Print three-dimensional decorating system.
The Bong Table was designed by Giulio Cappellini. Giulio Cappellini is an emblematic figure in the international design panorama. Animated by an indomitable spirit and the curiosity of someone who wants to renew himself continuously, Cappellini dedicates himself to design by offering his personal revision of contemporary design, both for the brand that bears his name, and as art director for other important brands in the field. Through his most ambitious project, his company, Giulio Cappellini has become a bona fide trendsetter, such that he has become universally recognized as a talent scout for young professionals.
