Description
Boby is much more than a simple container: it is the trolley storage unit that made design history. Functionality and detail are its strong points which, together with an undeniably pop flavour, continue to make it the most popular storage trolley in creativity sectors as well as in the medical, and in the home. Designed with injection-moulded ABS plastic drawers and compartments that guarantee simple vertically modular solutions, Boby provides versatile customized storage capacity, while its polypropylene casters guarantee full mobility. The Boby Trolley Top, made of natural materials, is also available in multi-layered oak or Canaletto walnut, or in cork in the Moka or Natural finishes.
Boby was designed by Joe Colombo. Colombo was educated in fine arts and architecture in Italy, first working as a painter and sculptor professionally. In 1955, he transitioned to focusing on a design career. Colombo would go on to produce designs for Kartell, Bieffe, Alessi, among others. His designs were playful and formally expressive yet distinctly "high design." Colombo passed at the age of 41, yet MoMA carries fourteen of his works in their permanent collection, including the Boby Trolley.

Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
