Description
B5 is the first one-legged cantilever chair consisting of a 3.30m long piece of pipe that is bent in a machine to six equal radii. The seat and backrest are padded. It was created in 1982, after several preliminary stages and prototypes for asymmetrical chairs in collaboration with TECTA.
B5 was designed by Stefan Wewerka who is considered one of the most versatile artists who fits into no box and worked and taught in all areas of fine art and design. Stefan Wewerka was the son of the sculptor Rudolf Wewerka and came from a traditional family of artists that can be traced back over many generations.

Do you deliver to NYC?
Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
