Description
This is a Twin-Sized Headboard and Footboard Set, designed by Jens Risom for Jens Risom Designs circa 1959. The listed price includes one set, and we have three sets available for purchase. They feature frames of solid American Walnut, and they retain their original dark yellow vinyl upholstered panels that are attached to each headboard. This design appeared in a 1959 catalog for Risom Contemporary Furniture, and was issued a model number of B 10U.
Each headboard measures 3.8 inches deep, 41 inches wide, and 36 inches high. We have intentionally left these pieces in their original condition. There is obvious patina to the wood, and there are some blemishes and spots on the upholstery. There are various light scratches on the footboards, especially on the bottom portions. Overall, these bed sets are in good condition. Please see photos.
