The APC is reminiscent of classic wooden chairs while advancing the appearance and functionality of this typology. The graceful chair combines great stability with excellent comfort; its backrest is attached to the frame with resilient connectors that allow it to flex in response to the sitter's movements. Thanks to the use of high-performance plastics that are resistant to sunlight and water, the APC is a robust, durable chair for indoor and outdoor settings. It is an excellent choice for home dining rooms as well as cafés, restaurants and other public venues.
APC was designed by Jasper Morrison. Morrison was trained in design at Kingston Polytechnic and post-graduate studies from the Royal College of Art in London. He has built a reputation for creating simple and often unassuming products, which reveal their novelty and genius through their simplicity. Morrison has designed trains and refrigerators, tea kettles and training shoes. In the realm of furniture and lighting, collaborations with Vitra, Emeco, Magis, and Flos have been very successful. To put it simply, Morrison's designs and products are those which you purchase and own because you need them in your life and because they are useful.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
