634 Schroeder side table
This is Schroeder 1 side table, initially designed by Gerrit Rietveld in 1923. The piece was manufactured by Cassina in the 1970’s, and is appropriately marked as such. It was produced for a limited time and exhibits the incised number of 967, making this an early production piece. It is composed of lacquered wood in geometric cubist form, utilizing primary colors while incorporating shades of black and white.
This piece measures 20 inches in width, 24 inches in height and 20 inches in depth. This piece is structurally sound but shows some signs of wear on the top. Overall, it is in terrific condition. This particular design is considered one of the foremost examples of Neoplasticism promoted by the Dutch De Stijl movement, of which Rietveld was a member.

Estimated lead times are shown under "Delivery", above. Read our shipping policy to learn more.
Lead times are estimated based on previous production times from our manufacturing partners, but lead times can change depending on availability and circumstances outside of Rarify's control.
For example: if purchasing an imported or made-to-order product, international shipping and import times depend on many factors. This includes US customs operations, global trade circumstances, and production facilities in other countries.
We will try to fulfill your order as quickly as possible. Our international freight forwarding partners help to take burden off of you during the process of importing; we appreciate your patience while your order is fulfilled.
Purchasing made-to-order is one of the most responsible ways to purchase, as it helps prevent furniture waste on our planet.
Vintage items are typically in-stock in the USA and ready to ship once purchased.

Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
Rarify's entire collection is evaluated by credentialed experts for authenticity. We strive to only list an item for sale if we're certain it's authentic. Our team reviews every piece.
