Description

This is a large square dining table, designed by Richard Schultz for his 1966 series for Knoll (this one likely produced for Richard Schultz Designs). The design never made it to the production phase, making this a rather important piece. The table features a white powder-coated aluminum frame, and has a black enameled-steel top composed of 4 panels. We acquired this directly from Peter Schultz, son of designer Richard Schultz and longtime business partner also. Peter had used this in his home for years prior to us acquiring it.

The table measures 75 inches wide, 74 inches long and 26 inches high. This piece is in completely original condition and shows light wear from use. There is some abrasion apparent to the white powder-coated frame, and there are oxidation marks and scratches on the matte blue coated top. There are also some missing screws on the undercarriage, though we can try our best to address that prior to shipping. Please see photos. The chair is not included.

What should I expect when ordering an item with lead time?

Estimated lead times are shown under "Delivery", above. Read our shipping policy to learn more.

Lead times are estimated based on previous production times from our manufacturing partners, but lead times can change depending on availability and circumstances outside of Rarify's control.

For example: if purchasing an imported or made-to-order product, international shipping and import times depend on many factors. This includes US customs operations, global trade circumstances, and production facilities in other countries.

We will try to fulfill your order as quickly as possible. Our international freight forwarding partners help to take burden off of you during the process of importing; we appreciate your patience while your order is fulfilled.

Purchasing made-to-order is one of the most responsible ways to purchase, as it helps prevent furniture waste on our planet.

Vintage items are typically in-stock in the USA and ready to ship once purchased.

How much does shipping cost?

To see shipping costs, add an item to your cart and proceed to checkout. You'll be able to see costs there.

Do you deliver to NYC?

Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.

What is Freight shipping?

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.

Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.

Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.

Is everything authentic?

Rarify's entire collection is evaluated by credentialed experts for authenticity. We strive to only list an item for sale if we're certain it's authentic. Our team reviews every piece.
