Description
Listed for sale is a notable pair of Nicos Zographos CH28 ribbon lounge chairs in black leather, produced by Nicos Zographos Designs Inc. The legs have a nice patina and the leather is clean and pliable. These examples represent some of the early design work from Zographos, taking gestures from Mies Van Der Rohe and other early modernists. Unlike the Barcelona chair for instance, the legs are more robust solid stainless and take a ribbon form, rather than an X. The also feature one-piece curved seats. This is an early and original pair. The chairs show some wear from use and a lovely patina.
