Description
Listed for sale is a rare Buttercup chair from The Invisible Group, designed by Erwine and Estelle Laverne from Laverne Originals. The Buttercup chair is constructed from lucite, a type of acrylic that the Laverne's used experimentally in their furniture. This example was produced circa 1960. It is overall in very good to excellent vintage condition with some wear from use. There are some scratches to the bottom of the base as noted in the photos, which is fairly typical. The seat cushion is a brown vinyl or leather upholstered seat pad.

The chair measures 23.5 inches tall by 30 inches wide and 28 inches deep.

You can see estimated lead times under "Delivery", above.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.

What is Freight shipping?

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
