Rarify at Bergdorf Goodman

Join us at Bergdorf Goodman to celebrate Rarify's installation, The Design Restoration Laboratory, 2025, in Goodman's Fifth Avenue windows and pop-up on the third floor.

Rarify is the independent, designer-led source for rare and collectible furniture, stewarding a trove of over 15,000 unique works from the 20th and 21st centuries. Known for curating the hauntingly cinematic set of Apple TV+'s Severance, Rarify now transforms Bergdorf Goodman into a mysterious, retrofuturistic workshop where history and imagination intertwine.

About the Laboratory

Seldom-seen Bauhaus pieces by German workshop Tecta stand beside Rarify's own Cube One lamps and visionary works by Willo Perron for NO GA Projects. Jean Nouvel workbenches and stark Italian NM3 forms become stages for the disassembly, restoration, and reinvention of treasured designs. Around them, cryptic experiments and quiet alchemy unfold, their story mapped onto the Bergdorf Goodman facade through designer Ben Fehrman-Lee's bespoke graphic work.
