Description
This is a set of four Domus Chairs, Model 141, initially designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara in 1946. These chairs were manufactured in Finland by Keravan Puuteollisuus, and distributed in the U.S. by Knoll ca. 1949. They have newly upholstered seats and backrests in a medium blue fabric. Their frames are made of birch, very Finnish indeed. These chairs are also known as “The Finn Chair.”
Each chair measures 21.3 inches deep, 22.8 inches wide, and 31 inches high. They have a seat height of 17.5 inches, and an arm height of 26 inches. We have intentionally left the frames for these pieces in their original, as-found condition. They have scuffs and scrapes, and have some darkening at the feet. The fabric is new and is in seemingly pristine condition. Please see photos.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
