Description
The Wiggle Side Chair is part of Frank Gehry's 1972 furniture series 'Easy Edges', in which he succeeded in bringing a new aesthetic dimension to such an everyday material as cardboard. The sculptural chair is not only very comfortable, it is also strong and robust.
Frank Gehry was trained in architecture at the University of Southern California (USC) and later city planning at Harvard's GSD. He established his practice in 1962, where he would design various works of architecture throughout Southern California. Gehry has been interested in sculptural folded paper-like forms for decades and has created entire fields of architectural design technology in order to accommodate his radical method of building. He received the Pritzker Prize in 1989 and has designed recognizable works such as the Louis Vuitton Foundation, Guggenheim Bilbao, Stata Center at MIT, among many others. In the realm of furniture, his bentwood furniture for Knoll and cardboard furniture for Vitra are most recognizable.

Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
