Description
These are original Wassily B3 Lounge Chairs, initially designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925. These particular examples were produced by Gavina in Italy in the 1960s and were imported and distributed by Knoll. The listed price includes one lounge chair, and we have four B3 chairs available for purchase. They have black leather upholstery and a chromed-steel frame that is tubular in nature, emblematic of Breuer’s best-known works. The chairs have welded end caps, indicative of their authenticity, but no tags remain. They have high-quality belting leather, which appears to be original to the pieces.
Each chair measures 27 inches deep, 31 inches wide, and 28.75 inches high. They have a seat height of 16.5 inches, and an arm height of 23 inches. There is some patina on the frames. Overall, these chairs present beautifully with some signs of use. Please see photos.
