Description
This is a 4-Door Walnut Credenza, model 541, initially designed by Florence Knoll in 1952. This particular example dates to the 1960s. The piece is constructed with a rich grained walnut veneer exterior, and has a lighter maple veneer interior. The four doors open to reveal two full-width shelves on the right, and four smaller shelves on the left. The other half of the left side also features two drawers, which slide smoothly. The credenza sits atop wooden legs with a nice dovetail detail at the top of each leg. It retains its original 1960s 320 Park Avenue label underneath.
This credenza measures 18 inches deep, 75.5 inches wide, and 28.5 inches high. The piece has been professionally refinished, and looks quite fresh. A couple of light remnant cup rings remain on the top. Overall, this credenza is in excellent vintage condition with some signs of use. Please see photos.
