Description
The Tinkering Suspension Lamp captivates its spectators through a rhythmic composition that is made from black coated stainless steel and brass. This suspension lamp is available in two sizes which feature 7 and 12 LED light sources. The light caps are individually adjustable and make this lamp suitable to be installed above a table or a desk. Tinkering is powered through Electrosandwich® technology by Marcel Wanders.
The Tinkering Suspension Lamp was designed by Joost van Bleiswijk. His work references iconic designs such as grandfather clocks, high-backed chairs, chess sets, and cupboards; bringing these designs into a contemporary setting. A genuine fascination for the construction of the object is the starting point of his process, unfolding in a quite instinctive and gestural way. Regardless of the scale, the handmade and human touch remains at the heart of his practice and reinforces an intuitive and emotional approach to contemporary design.
