Tango is an innovative floor lamp for indirect lighting. Mounted on a triangular steel base, the jointed structure of the lamp composed of three mobile aluminium shafts with elastomer joints nimbly lends itself to a fluid mechanical torsion movement that is propagated up to the top of the lamp, or at the position of the reflector, which is also triangular, setting its angle and making it possible to direct the light where it is needed.
Tango was designed by Francisco Gomez Paz. Since opening his design office in Milan in 2004 he has developed products for leading design companies such as Artemide, Driade, Danese, Lensvelt, Luceplan, Olivetti and Sector among others. Francisco’s approach to design is driven by his own curiosity, the knowledge of technology and materials and a highly experimental hands-on creative process.
