Live under the stars with Starfall Suspension Light! The Starfall Light is a circular suspension light with a contemporary twist. Punctuated with 30 LED light sources, this upside-down chandelier brings perpetual star fall in your home. Thanks to 30 slim arms of different lengths, it not only resembles falling stars but also a starry night sky with dots of light at varying heights. Installation is a breeze, thanks to the arms already in place, so you can enjoy your falling stars within moments. Starfall derives from Front's installation of the 800 closest stars from earth in the Science Museum in London.
The Starfall Light was designed by Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren, members of the Swedish design studio Front. Front’s design objects often communicate a story to the observer about the design process, about the material, or about conventions within the design field. Significant in their work is the partial assignment of the design process to animals, computers or machines. They worked on various projects such as a constantly changing interior, exploding objects, robotic furniture and a range of furniture inspired by their fascination with magic.
