Description
The Shift Dining Chair is practically versatile, cozily adorned with its padded seat and soft knitted backrest. It is the perfect chair to be shifted into a compact metropolitan kitchen or intimate dining room. Dining on a foldable chair has never been as comfortable.
The Shift Collection was designed by Jonas Forsman. Jonas learned from an early age to save resources by using as little as possible and make the most out of it. This has become a guide line for him, as a designer. He starts from the function and sees if he can solve it in a new way, often by using different materials or new mechanical solutions. Then he cuts away all things not necessary and lets the function speak for itself.

Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
Is everything authentic?
Rarify's entire collection is evaluated by credentialed experts for authenticity. We strive to only list an item for sale if we're certain it's authentic. Our team reviews every piece.
Can I customize a USM piece?
Yes; our team is an Authorized Dealer for USM Modular Furniture, trained to design custom USM Haller furniture. Please use the configurator or contact us.
Can I customize upholstery or finishes?
Absolutely. Most pieces can be customized. Select from the available product options, or contact us to inquire.
