Saruyama Island Sofa
By Toshiyuki Kita for Moroso
Description
This is a Saruyama Island Three-Piece Sofa, originally designed by Toshiyuki Kita in 1989. This particular example was produced by Moroso in Italy in 2020. The sofa is comprised of a steel frame, wooden base, and is upholstered in a red fabric.
The sofa measures 84 inches long, 96 inches wide, and 35.25 inches high with a seat height of 19.75 inches. The sofa had two areas that had liquid spilled on it, which have since been professionally cleaned. This is on two locations, as shown in the photos. The cleaning was very helpful but did not make it go away completely. Moroso is able to make new covers, something that we could help with if desired.
