Description
This is a large leather-covered executive desk known as the “Pfister Table,” initially designed in 1977 by Charles Pfister for Knoll. The piece was produced in Italy around the same time. The frame of the piece is made of steel, with the top and edge detail upholstered in Saddle brown/red leather. The piece was a special order and very few were made.
This desk measures 39.5 inches deep, 79 inches wide, and 29 inches high. There are some small marks on the leather, and there are myriad surface blemishes. Scratches are present on the top and sides, and some areas are worn away. Overall, the piece presents beautifully and is in good original condition. Please see photos. If you wanted to use it as a rare and original vintage piece, I'd recommend using it just as it is. If it needed to be perfect, you could re-do the leather, though I don't think its needed personally.
