Description

A portable, rechargeable table lamp originally designed by Verner Panton.

Verner Panton was one of the 20th century's most celebrated architects, industrial designers and textile designers. His work is characterized by expressive, curved forms, vivid colors and bold patterns.

Panton created this iconic table lamp in 1980 with a bell-like, widely flaring shade which is mounted with its aperture facing down. Today, the Danish company Verpan manufactures the lamp to Panton's original specifications in a portable, re-chargeable version.

Some of Panton's other most famous designs include the Cone Chair, the System 1-2-3 chairs, the Heart Chair, and the Cloverleaf Sofa. Rarify is an authorized dealer for authentic Verpan products, including many of these iconic works.
