“You have to feel how the material thinks,” Prouvé was convinced. His appeal was to continue thinking constructively and creatively. This approach continues to impress us today and is being consistently continued at Tecta and carried over into the new century. An example of this is the M21 Table. It is, so to speak, a collaborative effort: André le Stang, a freelancer of Prouvé's, drew the organic table shape from which we took the original dimensions. The circular recesses in the base frame are also inspired by Prouvé - the diameter comes from his doors and Axel Bruchhäuser used it to shape the base frame. Incidentally, the idea for these “views” came from none other than the British architect Alison Smithson. And so a workpiece was created entirely in accordance with Prouvé's conviction: no one can do anything alone.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
Is everything authentic?

Can I customize a USM piece?
