Lily Armchair
By Farg and Blanche for Petite Friture
Description
The Lily Armchair is characterized by an organic and refined shape. 84 cm high, it was designed to best encompass the curves of the human body and allow optimal comfort. Lily's fabric is sculpted reminiscent of a pillow. The seams carefully follow the curvilinear structure of the armchair to reinforce the effect. Made in Europe , this seat with compact proportions and soft shapes offers a very couture silhouette which invites itself poetically into the different rooms of the house. Thanks to its proportions and organic shapes, Lily conveys a caring image and creates a welcoming atmosphere . Its clear lines and generous curves provide a singular and soothing contrast. The foam used throughout the designer armchair is made of polyurethane, thereby making it both a high-resistance fire retardant. The timber and steel parts, such as the springs, are easily disassembled and make recycling a breeze. When paired with the sofa from the same range, this designer armchair makes for a soft, almost poetic visual effect. It is also an ideal match for the Unify side table, which adds a hint of sleek elegance. The proportions and organic lines of the Lily armchair create a feeling of caring and welcomeness. The unique contrast of the clean-cut lines and generous forms have a calming effect. The carefully drawn curves are the reason why the design is both unique and elegant.
Lily was designed by Stockholm based design studio Färg & Blanche, founded in 2010 by the Swedish designer Fredrik Färg and designer Emma Marga Blanche, born in France. As a studio, they work across a wide variety of fields, collaborating with established furniture brands such as BD Barcelona Design, Gärsnäs, Zero and Design House Stockholm to name a few, as well as producing their own collections and limited art pieces for galleries.
