LC6 Dining Table
By Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand for Unknown
Description
This is an LC6 Glass Dining Table, originally designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand in 1928. The table’s design features a long steel base in black and has a thick glass top. This table dates to the early 1980s, before Cassina instituted their application of an incised signature on their pieces. While its possible that it is a Cassina piece, we cannot be sure. It has no markings or engravings. The table came from the office of an architecture full of original Eames, Saarinen, Sapper, Artemide pieces, among others.
The table measures 42 inches long, 78 inches wide, and 28 inches high. There are a few scuffs and surface marks on the table legs and edges, and some slight scratches on the glass surface. Overall, this piece is in good condition with light signs of use. Please see photos.
