Lane Comodino H65
By Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti
Description
This is a handsome pair of Lane nightstands, model H65, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti in 2013. They are a rather scarce pair to find stateside, custom-ordered and imported from Italy in 2019. They feature solid matte Santos Palisander wood cases with one drawer each, perched atop a thick tulip base of structural polyurethane. The tulip base is finished in a glossy lacquered pewter hue. The drawers are also lined in matte palisander. They are solid and extremely well-built with materials of the highest quality.
The listed price includes the set of two nightstands. Each nightstand measures 35 ⅜ inches in width, 21 ⅝ inches in depth, and 20 ¼ inches in height. These were used as part of a very high end model unit staging in Manhattan and were therefore primarily used to look at but not actually use. In transporting, it appears that the finish was scraped in one area on the underside of one base, which is visible in the third image. Prior to shipping, we will plan to find a close matching paint and delicately touch that up so it is considerably less noticeable. See photos for condition.
