Description

These are K700 ‘Paperclip’ Chromed-Steel Counter Stools, initially designed by Philip Salmon and Hugh Hamilton for Kinetics in 1969. The listed price includes one stool, and we have eight stools available for purchase. These stools date to the 1970s and were produced by Kinetics Furniture in Canada, prior to Kinetics being acquired by American furniture company Haworth in the 1970s. Haworth continues to produce the stool in four sizes, but the original pieces from the 1970s remain the most coveted.

Each stool measures 17.5 inches deep, 16 inches wide, and is 27.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 27.5 inches. These stools are in very good condition, with some scratches and scrapes to the chrome finish. There is slight tarnish to the undersides of the seats, commonly seen with this model. Please see photos.

When do orders ship?

You can see estimated lead times under "Delivery", above.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.

Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.

What is Freight shipping?

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.

Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.

Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
