Description
The Gaia Sofa, inspired by contours found both in the natural world and the vivid imagination of its designer, is made using smooth forms, balanced proportions, and clean lines.
The Gaia collection ranges from single-seat lounge chairs, settees, and sofas to a collection of modular elements. Both low and high-armed versions visually swoop into a sculpted outer shell extending across the frame, cradling molded-foam cushions. Gentle lines repeat in the polished aluminum legs that turn and twist to mimic the contours of the seat.
The Gaia Collection was designed by Arik Levy, whose technical skills and creativity are reflected in variety of subjects and disciplines from product development, lighting design and corporate identity to packaging, point of purchase design, signage, exhibition, interior and set design. An innate scientific and poetic savvy with design innovation, simplicity and experimentation allows him to translate concepts into products, space and experiences. Levy’s work has been exhibited worldwide in museums, alternative spaces, galleries and fairs and is held in permanent collections of prestigious international museums and institutions.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
